1000 Drawings is built on community. It’s super-easy to get involved. Let’s break it down…
Doodle:
This is the fun part. Anyone can submit anything, from sketches, paintings and photographs to etchings, embroidery and beyond. Only condition: all work must be on an A5 piece of paper.
Donate:
In addition to your masterpiece(s), you can contribute time and cash, or sponsor us. Everyone involved in 1000 Drawings is a volunteer and, if you’d like to be to, then find out how. Or maybe just spread the word. Make some noise. Grow the movement.
Do Good:
All proceeds are donated to truly inspiring inner-city, education-focused charities that do amazing work with underprivileged youth.
Then, show up for the show.
Once we’ve collected all artworks, we display every single one at a massive exhibition, and sell them for R200 a pop. It’s a big day, with loads of food, fun and family-focused entertainment. So, pull in, find a piece that perfectly fills that gap on your wall, and help us to help others.
